The object of the Legion of Mary is the glory of God through the holiness of its members developed by prayer and active co-operation, under ecclesiastical guidance, in Mary's and the Church's work of crushing the head of the serpent and advancing the reign of Christ.
PLARIDEL COMITIUM REPRESENTS THE CHURCH TO THE GRASSHOOD LEVEL
Plaridel Comitium is the Vicariate Council of the Legion of Mary in Plaridel, Bulacan where as the Parish of St. James the Apostle is its seat of office. It was elevated from Curia to Comitium on February 18, 2007 under the leadership of its first President, Sr. Daisy Belen and Spiritual Director and Parish Priest during that time, Rev. Fr. Anacleto Ignacio. From that moment on. Plaridel Comitium grew in number as Affiliated Councils and Praesidia was added to its custody. Since then, the Council has been representing the Church to the grass hood level where numerous people has been given spiritual assistance.

PLARIDEL COMITIUM IN ITS ALUMINUM YEAR

Plaridel Comitium celebrates its 10th Year Anniversary last February 18, 2017 after the 123rd Monthly Meeting of the council. Rev. Fr. Elmer Ignacio, Spiritual Director of Plaridel Comitium presided the Thanksgiving Mass at exactly 11am and the sumptuous lunch begins at 12nn prepared by Affiliated Councils and Attached Praesidia. We may recall that on the 18th of February 2007, Plaridel Curia was elevated as a Comitium from the careful guidance of Senatus of Northern Philippines and the first set of officers chosen to lead the newly formed Plaridel Comitium were Sr. Agripina dela Peña (President), Sr. Lina Villalon (Vice-President), Sr. Daisy Belen (Secretary), and Sr. Carmelita Reyes (Treasurer). Later that year after few months, Regia of Malolos was founded.
PLARIDEL COMITIUM PLANS FOR 2017

Plaridel Comitium conducted its 2017 Annual Planning last February 11, 2017 on the Feast Day of Our Lady of Lourdes, exactly 8am at St. Anthony of Padua Chapel. It was attended by Affiliated Councils and Directly Attached Praesidia. On this event, Plaridel Comitium presented its plans for the whole year focusing on the sections of formation, growth, junior supervision, parish involvement and financial matters. Affiliated Councils from Pulilan, Our Lady of Miraculous Medal, Guiguinto, St. Michael the Archangel and Plaridel Junior Curia presented their plans as well for promotion and settlement of their own councils this year 2017. The Annual Planning was successfully completed and it was presumable that everyone will be enthusiastic for implementation of those drafts.

The officers of Plaridel Comitium conduct its meeting last January 11, 2017 at the President's Residence for its annual planning scheduled on February 11, 2017. Present on the planning was Sr. Teresita Osorio (President), Br. Rondel Reroma (VP), Sr. Silvina Dizon (Secretary) and Sr. Ma. Socorro Bagaforo (Treasurer). Various plans were carefully convened by the officers to fully cater the needs of the council including the sections of expansion, formation, focus on juniors, parish involvement and financial matters.
PLARIDEL COMITIUM JOINS 2016 MARIA ET FIDES YOUTH CONFERENCE

Senatus of Northern Philippines continuously provide aspiring activities for junior legionaries as it conduct its 2016 Maria et Fides Youth Conference last Dec. 10 and 11, 2016 at Baliwag, Bulacan hosted by the Regia of Malolos. More than 250 youth representatives from all over the country were united to perform various activities that would prosper their legion spirit as they continue their journey as a faithful servant of Mary. Four representatives from Plaridel Comitium joins the event and make aquaintances to other junior legionaries.

PLARIDEL COMITIUM UNITES FOR GENERAL ANNUAL REUNION 2016

Plaridel Comitium once again celebrated the Holiday Season by conducting its Annual General Reunion last December 4, 2016 at Bulwagan ni Santiago Apostol, St. James the Apostle Parish, Plaridel, Bulacan. It was initiated by a Holy Mass presided by the Current Spiritual Director of Plaridel Comitium, Rev. Fr. Elmer Ignacio. Lots of special number and games were prepared as well as the food. Legionaries who attended the event have enjoyed the celebration prepared by the officers.
